Long-time old-time musicians and dancers\, Box & String duo will show us all the ways we used to entertain ourselves before there were screens\, including the first “moving pictures\,” or crankie. \nTheir musical roots are traditions from the American Appalachians\, England\, Canada\, Scandinavia\, and France\, and they play a collection of instruments including guitar\, 4- and 5-string banjo\, mandolin\, concertina\, melodeon\, fiddle\, harmonica\, jaw harp\, and foot percussion. \nRegistration open at 6:30 PM Thursday\, May 7\, 2026
