Libraries are excited to be sharing summer programs and activities with you! Every Montgomery County Public Library offers something different, so we encourage you to contact your local library to discover what fun and unique adventures they have planned for children this year.

Montgomery Public Libraries have two fantastic virtual live events coming up soon that are open to all. Join Jarret J. Krosoczka as he shows us how he went from being a draw-happy kid to a widely-published adult.

  • June 29, 6:30-7:30 p.m. is for middle grade students, featuring Lunch Lady: The Cyborg Substitute and Jedi Academy: The New Class.
  • June 30, 6:30-7:30 p.m. is for teens, featuring Hey, Kiddo: How I Lost My Mother, Found My Father, and Dealt with Family Addiction (A National Book Award Finalist).

Follow the link to register for the age-appropriate event for you, and then be sure to contact your local library to see if there are any giveaway books still available for you to pick up.
